Ink mixing system ColorMix

The ink recipe can be entered manually or dealt with by the mixing system via an interface. The mixing computer calculates the weight of the required ink mixture. The mixing process begins and the primary colours in the selected mix are dispensed into the container standing on the precision scales. Depending on the design of the scales, the ink is accurately dispensed via the mixing head, pump control device and precision scales to a 0.3 g accuracy.

The respective mixed colour can be saved in the mixing computer with an allocated order or colour number or printed out as a record. In this way, the saved colour can be reproduced at any time, if it is ordered again.

If a primary colour container becomes empty, this is indicated by a central flashing light and the ink pump concerned switches off.
